Amanda Gaudette was born and raised in New Hampshire and currently resides just outside of New York City. She has her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance and a Minor in Business from The Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College. Amanda strives to be efficient, give clear directives, and foster a thoughtful environment aimed to allow performers to thrive every day. Amanda is currently seeking more opportunities to work with professional actors and performers creating a safe space for exploration, creativity, and story building.
Amanda is a Resident Show Director, Associate Choreographer, and Audition Choreographer for a major cruise line, a Masterclass Instructor to concert dance companies and dance studios in New England, and an Adjudicator for dance competitions across the country.
As a Resident Director she is responsible for teaching all choreography, blocking, intention, scripts, and dramaturgy to 13 different productions that vary in genre and cast size.
She was the Associate Choreographer to Nick Kenkle on Norwegian Cruise Lines’ production of Footloose the Musical onboard the Norwegian Joy, which ran for 5 years.
Amanda works for multiple dance competitions that host events across the country, providing feedback and exercises to enhance the growth of the next generation of performers.
As a professional Dancer, Aerialist, and Dance Captain she has performed all over the world with companies such as; The New England Patriots Cheerleaders, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Simonwill Productions, and Norwegian Cruise Lines.
